Established in the 1990s, the golden times for opening-up and reform of China, Suzhou Ishikawa Iron Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as SIIM) is a Sino-Japanese joint venture specializing in manufacturing nodular cast iron products. Mr. shiotani, the founder of the company brought the casting techniques that had been passed on for decades by the shiotani family to China, where the industrial level was relatively low. Inheriting the management philosophy of continuous improvement and ceaseless pursuit of perfection of Japanese enterprises, SIIM has been focusing on nodular cast iron manufacturing and mechanical processing technology. Now it has become a modern casting enterprise with the annual output of 70,000 tons of castings and monthly output of 1,000,000 pieces of precision machined parts.

In 2004, SIIM was relocated in Wuzhong Economic Development Zone, Suzhou, a magnificent place with fabulous scenery and the glorious history of outstanding people, from the old district Gusu District. Under the leadership of the president Mr. shiotani gaishi, who has been running the company with elaboration for 20 years, today SIIM already has three automatic casting workshops, a CNC machining workshop and four subsidiary plants. With the help of such excellent equipments as internationally leading DISA full-automatic molding system (made in Denmark) and precision CNC machining centers, SIIM has provided different famous enterprises in automobile, machinery and rail transport with quality nodular cast iron products which are well received by the customers. Moreover, SIIM has been honored as New High-tech Enterprise of Jiangsu Province, China and Advanced Enterprise of Foreign Investment of Jiangsu Province.
